Lim is particularly drawn to creating a line for zen art project utilizing a 3-dimensional installation designed with precision. The lines will be striking, alternating between pristine white during daylight hours and a deep black hue in the nighttime. From a specific vantage point, the Buddha statue and the wall will converge in a straight line, elevating the contemplative and introspective experience for the viewer.
In the country where Lim resides, the current perception towards artists is unfavorable, causing difficulties in other aspects of his life. He believes this stems from a narrow-minded perspective that prioritizes basic necessities such as sustenance and shelter. While the creation of art itself is not problematic, external interference from those in Lim’s surroundings continues to present challenges.
